The current economic and financial climate has affected most if not all businesses with everyday seeming harder then the previous one. At A2000 Systems we are constantly looking at ways to keep generating business with not only our current range of stylish and proven products but also when the economic situation improves being able to provide new and exciting ones. Timing is critical at the moment if we are to continue to sell our expanding product range to you. We have recently released a new range of Cable Management Systems called the “SPX” which we feel is an improvement on an already existing principle. Even though the previous range of CMS’s represented an answer to the question of what to do with those untidy cables and leads, the new SPX range goes even further with its ease of use and with its flexibility. We have expanded the idea of hiding those cables and thus hopefully give you the customer an even better product that in the current climate will save you money should you wish a change. Here at A2000 we will continue to truly value our customers as we continue to expand in these difficult times.

At A2000 we feel that it’s not just important to sell products that we feel the public wish to buy but its equally important that once a product is sold that a good customer care practice is in place. We not only are looking out for new customers but still value our previous buyers of our products. For example we have had people who may have purchased a Cable Management System a year ago now ring us up and inquire if its possible to mount it in the corner of their living room. Our previous range of CMS’s as well as our new SPX range is flexible so mounting it in the corner should you wish to do that at a later date is always there as an option. Also for example someone who brought a 2 tier XPC 18 months ago may wish to add an extra shelf to which we can supply the extra parts to allow that to happen. We always try to help not only future customers but also our previous clients who we value just as much. Sometimes on very rare occasions we can’t be of help for which we strive to better ourselves as a company.

Not only do we at A2000 Systems strive to design and manufacture top-quality and practical pieces of equipment we also give considerable thought into how we can represent our latest products to the public. We advertise in a range of magazines and online shopping facilities. These reach a very wide of people and generate custom for us however its often our website that customers look at and then decide what they wish to buy from us. Our website needs to constantly change if we are to grab peoples attention – not only in advertising new products but also in the way in which they are represented. A very large percentage of our products feature links to other items so for example if someone was just looking for a bracket we give them the option to look at a cable management system (which they may not have even thought existed or considered). Also we have links on the range of CMS’s to extras which they can buy from us at the same time e.g. replacement glass shelves or cables/leads and thus save them time and money purchasing from another source. A2000 tries hard to grab your attention with our ever changing product range!

Over the past few years TV manufacturers have strived to create sets that are easier to recycle, made from more environmentally friendly components and use less power. In one magazine a group test of 32in screens had LCD’s that used between 68w right up to 169w (one 46in Plasma used 450w). Not being an expert on TVs I presume Plasma’s use more juice than LCD’s and am wondering when people are looking for a new screen how influenced they will be by “power consumption” (will they choose an LCD because it uses less) rather than picture and sound quality? Just thumbing through any one of a myriad of magazines reveal an endless choice of both LCD and Plasma TV and I don’t envy people choosing their first “new tech” screen. I imagine it comes down to personal preference and what one person likes isn’t always the next persons “cup of tea”. Also the list of criteria when choosing a TV is forever growing with “how green it is” being the latest in a never-ending list. Wonder if anyone still chooses a TV just because it looks nice?

Here at A2000 we like to keep abreast of all the latest developments in TV technology and we regularly receive the latest copies of most of the “visual” publications. With an already seemingly bewildering range of makes and models of screens there now seems to be a “new kid on the block”. 4 manufacturers (with another 2 waiting in the wings) have released LED TV’s. Improving on an existing LED technology these screens feature a novel approach to backlighting (individual control of multiple tiny diodes) which promises deeper black levels, vastly improved colours, slimmer chassis and better clarity. One magazine saying, “LED pictures are among the most breathtaking we’ve ever seen”. At the moment prices range from £1400 up to £9K with only a limited range but if other manufacturers jump onboard the LED bandwagon then prices may drop. Whatever new products come out you can guarantee A2000 will have a piece of furniture that is an idea compliment for that new purchase – being stylish, practical and representing value for money.

New ideas and fads seem to me to be constantly changing. What’s in this week will be out of date next week. Whilst a little while back plasma/LCD screens were getting bigger (Toshiba do a 103in plasma) the next step forward is for them to get thinner. Also once upon a time all you got was a TV screen but now not only are most “HD Ready” quite a few are coming with built in “Freesat”. There will come a time when most if not all LCD/Plasma’s will be fully-equipped to receive HD and Freesat with out the need to go out and purchase extra equipment. Maybe even further down the road TV’s will be equipped with the next step on from Blu-Ray as standard?? However some people will still yearn for all that extra equipment be it a DVD/Blu-Ray player or a games console and will still be looking for somewhere to place it. Here at A2000 Systems we see a need for furniture that allows people to adapt to an ever-changing market place and will continue to develop products that allow future as well as existing customers to do that. As technology changes we need to keep up to date to survive in a competitive market place.

With Plasma/LCD technology advancing all the time it all boils down to two aspects that the customer will be looking for – picture and sound quality. Manufacturers seem to be striving for this all across the board, whether it’s the cheapest to the most expensive or smallest to the largest screen. Sometimes it seems to be a bit of a hit and miss affair with screens that cost several thousand delivering no better than screens costing half or even less. At A2000 we constantly strive not only to give what we think customers are looking for but also give customers products that are of the highest quality. We like to try to get it spot on from that “initial idea” right the way through design, manufacturing, advertising and finally sale to the customer. Manufacturers need to look at the “big picture” when contemplating a new product as not giving 100% in say advertising may effect if a future purchaser considers your buying your products. But at the end of the day the buying public can be very fickle

Before you decide on purchasing a stand for you new plasma or Lcd television you may want to consider mounting it to your wall and fitting one our SPX cable management systems instead of placing on a stand.
Yes there is all full lot of stands you can choose from in the market place and some are very stylish and ever so pleasing to the eye, having said all of this they can be quite large and take up alot of floor space which can be an issue at times.
We believe at A2000 systems that we have a very stylish solution, our cable management systems. These units are made from the best materials available and look stunning and best of all made in the UK. Going back to this large foot print, the way around this is to mount your screen to the wall and fit one of the our many styles of cable management systems directly below. The beauty of these units you are able to hide away those unwanted cable and have some where to place your digital box, dvd, playstation, etc on a free standing unit, its tidy and clean and certainly worth a look.
